Kitten Soup for the Face

I’m a dog person. As such, I’ve never spent much time around kittens. Here are a few things I’ve learned watching Kathryn’s new kitten.

They have limitless energy… until they collapse.

They have no problems pouncing on you when you are sound asleep.

They are fascinated by everything, especially when you’re in the bathroom.

There is no place they can’t get on top of.

They have large heads and small bodies.

They have needle-sharp claws.

They have no idea why you yell when the claw the crap out of you.

They often come with pets of their own including, but not limited to, tape worms and bacteria.

They are far less judgmental than adult cats.

Imogen likes you too.

When the kitten becomes a full grown cat, the habit of pouncing on you when you sleep becomes smacking you in the face and biting the top of your head while you sleep.

And they are so CUTE.

I attest to what Ryan said. Though, I'm convinced Amanda's cat is actually half-human.
