The Great Pasty Bake Off
Saturday afternoon, Kathryn and I made pasties. Lots and lots of pasties. I had to triple the dough recipe in order to have enough for all the filling we ended up with. But about two dozen single serving pasties and one pie style pasty later, the kitchen smelled yummy and our bellies were bursting with meat and vegetable filled, flakey doughy goodness. Saturday through today, they’re serving as dinner, breakfast, dinner, lunch and dinner.
In other news, tomorrow night I go see David Sedaris. Jealous? I know you are.

Mom made myself and Uncle Bill pasties for our duck hunting trip to the Heymarsh. We both got a few shots in. No ducks or gease came home. Oh! Mom's pasties were very good

According to Wikipedia:
David Sedaris (born December 26, 1956) is an American humorous essayist and radio contributor. Much of his humor is autobiographical and self-deprecating, concerning his large family life, Greek heritage, various jobs, education, and his life in France with his boyfriend Hugh.
Good stuff.

A lady and gentleman came in to my store today and asked about pasty makers. I told them that we did not have them, to which the lady said "Do you even know what a pasty is?"
I just continued to look at her like I was dumb and then said that Wal-mart probably had them.

Something's gotta be done about this page, man. Hundreds of people count on you to entertain us when we're bored at work! You're only posting once every third Equinox, and then it's about making pasties with your girlfriend. Which is a wonderful thing to do, don't get me wrong, I'm just saying: less domestic bliss, more cowbell/photodocumented forays into applied ballistics theory, perhaps with potatoes. (though if you launched a pasty from a potato cannon...)

I'm with page police. And I should know, I'm legendary producer Bruce Dickinson. That's right, THE Bruce Dickinson.

"Coming from you, Bruce, that means a lot."
