Who cares?

The first thing I do when I get out of the shower every morning is turn on the news. I like to see what’s going on in the world and check the weather forecast before I head to work. When I turned the television on this morning I was surprised, nay, disgusted to see the anchors discussing Tom and Katie’s baby. I know that over the years our culture has eroded traditional news shows to create sort of hybrid of newsworthy and entertainment information, but would somebody please explain to me why I should care about that baby and what it’s named? I watch ABC news, mostly because it’s the only channel I get, so I cruised over the their webpage to see where the story ranked on the internet. A rotating headline/picture showing the top stories sandwich Tom and Katie between two sides of the alleged Duke rape case. Am I the only one who’s annoyed by that?

Hey, at least Tom didn't eat the placenta, or if he did, they are not reporting it.

PS. Do you dry off, get dressed, and THEN watch the news, or watch the news whilst dripping dry. If that's the case, don't get too close to the TV man, or you may find wacthing the news a shocking experience.

I am annoyed as well, that crap should stay on the E! network. I don't give an isht.

I think you're being totally ignorant! This is really important stuff. TomKat's baby, who Paris Hilton is banging now, this is crucial stuff. If you didn't know this you couldn't.... I mean, those who don't learn from the past... You really need to know the climate... Ah, it's just a bunch of useless shit, isn't it?

you will need to know for trivial pursuit 2000-2010 edition!!!

The whole Cup family will be in MI for a trip to show off sippy cup towards the end of may. Ps hopes and prayers for sippy cup he has surgery on Tuesday. sorry but this is the best way for me to reach all you people at once.

the best part about the story was that brooke shields had her baby on the same day...i miss smut magazines...sorry.

Times have changed and the networks need to hear that they have changed for the worse and not for the better. The right perspective to news needs to be looked into.
