Scotch - Because one doesn't solve the world's problems over white wine.
I’m starting to get the hang of this dry county thing. Near as I can tell, if you want alcohol you have one of two choices. The first option, pay a fee to join a private club because those are the only places allowed to serve alcohol. The other option is that, because you can have it in your home, you drive an hour or so to the next county and buy liquor there. Though I've been warned to take the back roads home because the police actually set up road blocks from time to time and it's against the law to posses more than what basically equates to a case of beer, bottle liquor, etc. Who's going to drive that far to get enough alcohol for night? I thought it was strange today when I saw a small wine fridge in Wal-Mart, but what's even stranger than all that the Jack Daniel's distillery is and always has been, located in a dry country.
