What we have here is
As I continue to get things in order for my impending graduation, let me take a moment to dispel a few myths that I have repeatedly encountered.
1. Johnny is probably going to movie back to Lansing.
I have no plans what so ever to move back to the Lansing area. I mean no offense towards the area or any of my friends and family there, but after graduation I want to move on with my life and I don't think moving back home will help quench that desire.
2. Johnny is probably going to move to California like his sister.
It is true that I have applied to a few jobs in California, but I have also applied to jobs in Alaska, Virginia, Ohio and many, many other places. I will not rule out moving to California as an option, but it not currently at the top of my list of places to go after graduation.
3. Johnny has an insatiable lust for destruction and will not stop until all of Tokyo is destroyed.
Honestly, I don't know who started this one, but for the last time, I am not Godzilla. I don't breath fire out of my mouth and I'm not 600 feet tall. Please stop talking about the time I allegedly fought King Kong, it simply did not happen.
4. Johnny doesn't want to stay in Kalamazoo.
Quite frankly, I love Kalamazoo. It's not too far from home, but not too close either. I like the town and its inhabitants. I love my roommates and have actually made a few friends here. If at all possible, I think it would be nice to not have to move again, so Kalamazoo is my first choice… if I can find a job in town.
5. Johnny knows exactly what he wants to do after graduating.
I don't think many people actually think this, but I didn't want to break form. Though I have figured out that I want to write for a magazine or newspaper and I am submitting many resumes to such places, I still don't know exactly what I'll be doing or where I'll be doing it in six months. I'll let all of you know as soon as I do.
