The only exercise you are
Yesterday after dinner I decided that I should get some exercise so I put on some baggy shorts and walked out the front door intending to make my way down to the grocery store for some iced tea. When I got close to the store I realized that I only had one dollar in my pocket and I didn’t feel at all exercised. I checked to make sure I had my debit card on me and took a right on Howard aiming myself toward the video store. Nearly 45 minutes later I walked into the front door of Blockbuster wondering to myself if I was going to make it back in time to start a movie before I went to bed. I rented Assault on Precinct 13 (the remake) and National Treasure, paid via my debit card and headed back home. The walk back took just as long as the trip there but it was a lot easier since most of it was down hill. All said and done, my little walk took nearly two hours and because I was wearing my Pumas with soles like wrestling shoes, my feet and legs were a little tender. But I’ll be damned if I don’t feel good about it today. I actually plan on walking back when I return the movies.
