Am I wrong in thinking that the next generation of video games is coming at us rather quickly. I'm still enjoying my Xbox and the new games being pumped out by Microsoft, but come the holiday season the new Xbox is going to hit stores and, if history does repeat itself, it won't be long until my console is obsolete. Maybe if I have a real job by that time, which, at the rate I'm sending out resumes, I'll be surprised if I don't, I'll be able to get my hands on the new Xbox. But I don't want to have to do that. I think the war between Playstation and Xbox is going to hurt me, Mr. Average Gamer. Damn Moore and his law. On the other hand, the new stuff does look pretty sweet. Maybe I’m just way off in my thinking here and it is time for the next generation. Does anyone know how many years the old school NES was around before Super-NES took over? Two points to the man, woman or child who can tell me the answer to that and how many years the Xbox has been around. I want to compare but I’m too busy at work to do the research myself.
