E Pluribus Unum When studying
When studying other languages I enjoy the freedom of structure allowed when a language is not as syntax based as our own. I'm getting that freedom in my latin class. For instance the sentence, "John is a man" could also be written, "John man is a" or even "is a John man" unless you're Roman, then apparently the direct object is always first. Either way, a lot of people I meet in foreign language classes don't like this concept but I think it actually makes things easier. Not having to put words in a specific order is just one less thing to worry about on a test.
