Painting is seeing, then remembering

Painting is seeing, then remembering better than you saw.

The new picture is of a painting I bought yesterday for a dollar. The artist is about to move and is selling anything and everything he can to make a little extra cash before he leaves. But the real cool thing is that I had him sign the back of the painting: To Johnny, my number one fan. I also got to hear the history behind it. Apparently it deals with an ancient Aztec myth about a god who used to think it was great fun to play tricks on humans.
