Change one thing, change everything.

Change one thing, change everything.

Yesterday was a busy day. I went to class, I went out to lunch, studied, hung out at the coffee shop, wrote, hung out at some strangers house, played chess, had a drink, went and saw Butterfly Effect.

The first half of Butterfly effect can best be described as disturbingly creepy. There is a scene that sent chills down my spine in which a 7 year-old-ish boy is found by his mom standing in the kitchen holding a butcher knife and he has no idea why he is doing it and no recollection of grabbing the knife. Ashton Kutcher proves beyond a doubt that his acting abilities run far deeper than that of his normal unintelligent and bumbling characters. I was pleasantly surprised at his ability to play the part of such a complex character. Go and see this movie or I'll poke you in the eye with a sharp stick.

You know, Dick, when life

You know, Dick, when life gives you lemon, just shut up and eat the damn lemons.

So much to say...

1st, I will updated the leader board.

B, Kelly there's another chance for you to get some points coming later this week too. Here's a hint: Dust off your old biology books.

3, I have a new tattoo, pictures to follow.

Lastly, Everyone will have an icon eventually. I'm just running out of ideas for images so feel free to suggest what you want.

I'm going for the high

I'm going for the high score.

Okay, because Kelly keeps bugging me about it here's another chance to pick up some bonus points. For 20 points, how many piercings do I have?

My job on the show

My job on the show is to be naked, not kill myself.

I used this (NSFW!) to make my sister a birthday card yesterday. Although some might say is a little racey I think it's hilarious and so does 5K. What do you think? By the way NSFW means not safe for work.

Bonus Points I finally got

Bonus Points

I finally got around to making the bonus points page. If you're not on it it's because A: you don't have any points and B: I couldn't think of an icon for you. I'll put up a link off the main page sometime. So for a chance to get on the board 15 bonus points for the first person to tell me what Tha Chief's icon thingy is.

First thing I'ma do; I'ma

First thing I'ma do; I'ma get me a tattoo.

I'm going to get some more ink done but I'm not sure exactly what. I drew these up, what do you think? Its going on the back of my right arm.

In an unrelated note, I was at the coffee shop this evening reading a book when this girl sat down next to me and started talking to me. Then on my way out this table of pierced and freaky looking gothic chics stopped me for a minute. I'm a stud.

Whaaooo Listen to the music.

Whaaooo Listen to the music.

Last night I was at this nice little Irish Pub listening to Jen's friend sing and play the guitar. I love live music at bars. My favorite kind is just one person with a guitar too so I had a great time. Plus I had a nice Irish beer of some kind.

Judge Dread is that old?

Judge Dread is that old?

I was just looking through my roommates Sega games and I found Judge Dread. Now were talking the original Sega not some sort of new fangled Sega Dreamcast. I had no idea Judge Dread was that old. I'm offering 20 bonus points to the person who can tel me both the year Sega came out and the year Judge Dread came out. I have been keeping track of all the bonus points I've offered and honestly, only one other person has earned bonus points. However I'll make a new page dedicated to keeping track of bonus points if somebody new wins.

We know all your sins

We know all your sins [John] and for each one we have provided an agonizing and ironic punishment

In one last swig I will have finished a bottle of Pinot Grigio in far less time than it should have taken me. I wasn't planning on drinking at all tonight but after thinking about my sick grandpa and intense work load this summer I opened the bottle and just coudn't put it down. Now I'm thinking of Hemmingway and the other great writers who were alcoholics and died young. Am I a writer? Yes. Am I an alcoholic? No. Will I die young? Probably not. However the irony of tonight does not escape me. Also I misspelled Hemingway... at least once... I think. Goodnight all, and may the force be with you.

P.S. I recieved a letter from the Awakenings Review, where I submitted my first story. They recieved my letter and will get back to me in the next six months. Better subscribe now folks.

Lisa, we can't afford all

Lisa, we can't afford all these books!

Last semester I couldn't sell a single text book back. This semester I've already spent $250 on books this semester and I still have one more to buy. My journalism class alone requires five books. I wish I could just go to CGN University. I bet they don't need books.

Around here, we brush our

Around here, we brush our teeth with Scotch.

I have never cared for the selection of toothpaste flavors. The wide range between fresh mint and mint gel just never satisfied me. So when I was at the store a few days ago and noticed the new citrus and cinnamon flavors I jumped at the chance to try something new. The thought of rubbing my gums with cinnamon early in the morning was less that appealing for me so I decided on the citrus flavor. Now I'm not sure how I would describe the flavor but just about the last thing that comes to mind is citrus. Strangely enough though, I'm going to continue using this mystery flavor because it does beat out mint in my taste test.
