Every Christmas my Mom would

Every Christmas my Mom would get a fresh goose, for gooseburgers, and my Dad would whip up his special eggnog out of bourbon and ice cubes.

Christmas Eve is finally here! When I woke up this morning I was suprised to see how little snow was on the ground. I came home around 3:00 this morning and it was snowing something fierce! I must have let up as soon as I got inside and went to bed. I haven't checked a weather forcast yet, but I hope it snows a bunch more today. It just doesn't seem like Christmas without snow. On a side note, six and half hours of Xbox last night was AWESOME! Team No Pants rocked the house!

Hmm, double d's, just like

Hmm, double d's, just like your grades

I checked my grades online yesterday; I had 2 A's and 2 B's. It's probably my best report card in 10 years. My semester GPA is a whopping 3.57 which brings my overall GPA up to a 2.66. Funny how easily they go down but how hard they come back up. Kinda like a submarine with a screen door.

I'll say this much, she's

I'll say this much, she's got the male part down!

It's funny because it's true.

Another one bites the dust

Another one bites the dust

I finished my last exam of the semester about 45 minutes ago. One of the questions was to list a series of questions I would ask the Dean of my school if I was interviewing her about the WMU budget cuts. I was tempted to through in, "If I make you look good in this story can I graduate early?" However, since I already referred to Bush as President Shrub earlier on the exam I figured I should be serious.

On a side note I put Christmas music on in my car for the first time this morning. One of my personal favorite Christmas songs is still Oi To The World by No Doubt. It’s hip, it’s poignant, it’s great. My other favorites include Snoopy vs. The Red Baron, Christmas by Blues Traveler, The Barking Dogs, Christmas In Hollis, and anything by The Trans-Siberian Orchestra. What’s yours?

Salad as a rock I'm

Salad as a rock

I'm taking a break from studying for my math 114 final right now. There will not be a single math problem on the final so it should be pretty easy. Anyway, while I was taking a break from studying I watched the new Strongbad Email. I think it's the best one they've done in quite a while.

A good roommate relationship is

A good roommate relationship is based on a respect for privacy.

When I got home last night the bastard roommate was upstairs playing video games. I went straight to my room and stayed there for the rest of the night. I also noticed that a letter to him from the landlord that I saw Friday was still sitting unopened on top of our mail pile. Hopefully one of the other roommates knows what's going on, because I'm in the dark.

I come home one particular

I come home one particular evening The landlady said, "You got the rent money yet?" I said, “No, can't find no job.”

Last night one of my roommates gave me the skinny on the bastard roommate who hasn't paid any of his rent. It seems that he has until Friday (tomorrow) to cough up all the rent he owes. Failing that the landlords are getting a court order giving him something like a week to vacate the premises or all his belongings become property of the owners of the house who will basically leave it up to the renters to divide amongst ourselves. Friday morning I think I'll be locking up my room and coming home. I really don't want to be around for all the drama I expect to unfold this weekend. Also, apparently this loser works for the landlord’s son and hasn’t shown up to work in over two weeks without so much as calling. I can’t wait until this guy is gone; he’s really starting to make me nervous with all his bastardly ways.

Go to class, learn something!

Go to class, learn something!

In a few minutes I'm going to get up and walk out of my Journalism class. It's okay because today was set aside for people to talk to the teacher about what ever they want and I don't have anything to talk to her about. I've spent my morning talking to the girl who sits next to me and the guy who sits behind us. It was a lovely morning actually, a very nice way to start the day.

Errrrr. I'm just going to

Errrrr. I'm just going to stack them over here.

Well, the Holiday weekend is over and I have to say it was a fun one. Had a great Thanksgiving and spent a lot of time with my friends. All in all I would call it a Scotch drinking, video game beating, dog ear cleaning, turkey eating, bar hoping, Keno playing, hot tub soiling, card playing good time to the last drop. I even spent Sunday evening watching TV with the 'rents.
