They're baa-ack I picked up

They're baa-ack

I picked up the electronic pen again today and created this Flash beauty. I'm thinking about trying add some sound and a few flashing lights but I don't know. It took me 5 fours to get this far. Sound would be cool though. 10 points to the first person to tell me what this machine is making.

Excuse me ... Your balls

Excuse me ... Your balls are showing

For those of you (5k) who wanted to know why I thought what I thought. I give you exhibit A

"Vegetarian" is an old Indian

"Vegetarian" is an old Indian word meaning "I don't hunt so good."

There was only one “vegetarian” this weekend at the annual father son squirrel hunt. On Saturday I broke in my new gun and managed to get a nasty parasite infected squirrel. Even though we had to throw it away it still felt good to get something with my new gun. Thanks go Uncus we were also able to find the partridge that my dad shot. All the fresh air, clear skies, and good food would have made the trip worth it even if we hadn't gotten anything.

In other news a mariachi band is playing in the cafeteria right now here at school. When I get married I want a mariachi band playing at my reception. Now the violinist is dancing with a girl from the crowed and all the musicians on stage are doing some sort of cool dance thing. Mom would love this. Of all the days to forget my camera.

Life was great... until it

Life was great... until it immediately turned to crap

Only the first part of that sentance is true right now and I don't expect the last part to happen any time soon. I just needed a quote and was having trouble finding a good one. So anyways today was a great day. One class was really short and another one didn't meet at all today. Then I went geocaching for an hour or so at Asylum Lake. Found two caches and had a great walk through nature. After that I met Jenny and some of her friends at a bar and played pool for a little while. I also finished a good book and beat Ghost Recon. I even managed to squeeze in a half hour nap and watch some cartoons. What a great day.

And now for something completely

And now for something completely different As I was watching my dads goats this weekend I began to wonder why would God give something that small testicles that big? If his balls are anywhere near as sensitive as mine he's got to be in constant pain.

The Man In Black Died

The Man In Black Died Today

One of the greats and probably the last of the humble rock stars Johnny Cash a true man in every sense of the word. Here is some Cash wisdom to think about.

CASH: Finally got it right. And I'm pretty well resolved to the fact that that's what it is. And it's a slow process of the nerve endings.

LARRY KING: No cure?

CASH: No, I don't think so. But that's all right. There's no cure for life either.

~

Well, you wonder why I always dress in black,
Why you never see bright colors on my back,
And why does my appearance seem to have a somber tone.
Well, there's a reason for the things that I have on.

I wear the black for the poor and the beaten down,
Livin' in the hopeless, hungry side of town,
I wear it for the prisoner who has long paid for his crime,
But is there because he's a victim of the times.

I wear the black for those who never read,
Or listened to the words that Jesus said,
About the road to happiness through love and charity,
Why, you'd think He's talking straight to you and me.

Well, we're doin' mighty fine, I do suppose,
In our streak of lightnin' cars and fancy clothes,
But just so we're reminded of the ones who are held back,
Up front there ought 'a be a Man In Black.

I wear it for the sick and lonely old,
For the reckless ones whose bad trip left them cold,
I wear the black in mournin' for the lives that could have been,
Each week we lose a hundred fine young men.

And, I wear it for the thousands who have died,
Believen' that the Lord was on their side,
I wear it for another hundred thousand who have died,
Believen' that we all were on their side.

Well, there's things that never will be right I know,
And things need changin' everywhere you go,
But 'til we start to make a move to make a few things right,
You'll never see me wear a suit of white.

Ah, I'd love to wear a rainbow every day,
And tell the world that everything's OK,
But I'll try to carry off a little darkness on my back,
'Till things are brighter, I'm the Man In Black.

Everything in nature is beautiful.

Everything in nature is beautiful. Unless it's ugly.

Let me cut to the quick, because you'll either know what I'm talking about or you won't. Waldo Library at WMU has a Gwen Frostic Reading Lounge. It was put there because WMU's "grateful appreciation of her lifelong devotion to the university." There are several framed prints of hers on either end of the lounge and two plaques honoring her. If you know who Gwen Frostic is I’m sure you’ll agree that it is indeed a small world.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Elvis has

Ladies and Gentlemen, Elvis has left the building

Or has he? I went Mark’s girlfriend’s birthday party at B-Dubs in Grand Rapids last night. Mark bought an Elvis-gram for Liz and a little before 9:00 p.m. Elvis showed up with his own P.A. system and gave a 20 minute performance right there in B-dubs, which I might add, is a little bit nicer than the college town version East Lansing has. After pictures were taken and Elvis left the building we played several hours of bar trivia then called it a night. And what a gloriously Elvis infested night it was.

...and very important, DO NOT

...and very important, DO NOT do your homework without wearing headphones.

So much homework. And so much of it just busy work. I don't need practice formating disks and I don't need practice adding columns of numbers. These frequent and boaring assignments are just getting in the way of real work that I need to do. Like write a 10 page paper or beat the 4th Level of Diablo II.

They have the internet on computers now

In my computer class today I learned how to not only create new files on the computer but how to re-name them too. What an exciting day.

To Alcohal. The cause of,

To Alcohal. The cause of, and solution to, all of lifes problems

What a Saturday night eh boys? One thing I'll never do again is a brake job on my car hung over. I thought the day would never end. On top of that I have this cut than runs all the way across my left hand and I'm not exactly sure how I got it. Still I think we had a good night.
