1. Team Barry Jive and The Uptown Five won best team name last night at Hooters Trivia night. Next week we dominate... or at least eat our free wings.

2. I left my instant messenger running at work yesterday when I went home. I've never had so many people hit me up in one evening. Too bad I wasn't around to answer. Sorry guys and dolls, I wasn't ignoring you.

I've got the flu or a cold or something. Last night I started dozing off in front of the tv around 7 and didn't really get up until 7 this morning. This day is dragging on and it's only a little after 11.

Three generations of the Jamros

Three generations of the Jamros clan were massacred at Fort Mackinaw this weekend. Other interesting events during the weekend, a kid set his hair on fire, I won the spear throwing contest, and helped fire a cannon.

In other news roll call for the Century Challenge this weekend.

For the few people who

For the few people who will know what I'm talking about, I'm pretty sure I saw the smoker girl driving down 96 on my way to work this morning. Between seeing her again and talking several times to a Canadian who kept saying "aboot", it's been a good week.

As I am the Marketing

As I am the Marketing Department at Print Makers, I had to print some flyers on one of our printers yesterday. However when I hit the print button the machine was completely unresponsive. My first reaction was to go check the computer that routes all of our print requests. Upon doing so I found somebody had submitted a file that it didn't like which had blocked the rest of the files in the queue. No big deal, delete the corrupted one, everything else moves up in line and gets printed. However, my boss had had the same problem as I did but instead of checking the print queue his remedy was to hit the print button 27 more times. If you try and start your car but it doesn't even turn over is your first response to turn the key 27 more times? Computer problems are no different. If it didn't work the first time and you don't check or change anything chances are it won't the second, third, or twenty-seventh either. What is so different about technology that people don't understand? Can somebody tell me?

I was up late watching

I was up late watching The Godfather II last night. A lot of people say they like that one the best, but I think the first one was better.

Finally things are back on

Finally things are back on line. A lot of behind the scenes action was taking place last week and a couple of things got over-looked. Anyway here I am again. I went up north with my roomate last weekend to sight in my new gun. We had a great time and Bourke came home with a Blue Racer skin. Now it's back to the grind. You load sixteen tons and what do you get...

I know this man who

I know this man who doesn't conform to societies standards of dressing, this man who, when judged by his looks, most people wouldn't want to meet him on a deserted road when their car breaks down. This man who, in actuality, is the exact type of person you would want to meet. This man who just got back from an 8 month solo trip around America in his van. A man who sent in his gubernatorial absentee ballet from somewhere out west. A man who played his guitar on the street for money when he ran out. An aspiring writer who came home to surprise his mom on Mothers Day. A man who embodies courage and independence.

I've quickly fallen into my

I've quickly fallen into my summer routine of working all day all week at the office then enjoying my too short weekends. I think I'll go rent "Office Space" this weekend to remind myself that I have a good job and a nice boss, not to mention the fact that there are no TPS report cover sheets here.

Last night Bourke and I

Last night Bourke and I played several hours of Dynasty Warriors 3 on a 74" screen with surround sound. Needless to say, it was awesome!

It's a sad day for society today, as the term "Bling - Bling," has been officially added to the Oxford English Dictionary.
