Mark and I went disc

Mark and I went disc golfing yesterday. It was good to catch up with him as we have not done anything in a while. Unfortunately I learned the hard way that disc golfing can put a strain on a freshly pierced nipple. Being the true athlete that I am, I played through the pain.

I watched High Fidelity last

I watched High Fidelity last week and it got me thinking as it usually does. Here are my all time top five favorite songs: 1. Lord of the Dance (Straight out of the church Hymn book) 2. Funeral Song by Benjo 3. Drinking Song by Moxy Fruvous 4. Lola by the Kinks 5. Vineyard by Jack O Pierce

*1-3 are solid and will not change.
**4-5 are subject to change without notice.

I am defeated... for now.

I am defeated... for now. After working for several hours today on a CGI version of my comments my head is about to explode. I can see that it will take me quite some time to figure things out. Until then I'm trying yet another hosted version. Hopefully this one doesn't punk out on me like the others.

I consider myself to be

I consider myself to be a friendly driver. I let people turn out in front of me when there is a traffic back up. I even did so for several people today when I was in a traffic jam and ten minutes late on my way to work. However, from this point on, I will not let you in if you are smoking. Reason the first: Many smokers flick their butts out the car window. This is a vile disgusting habit that angers me greatly. Reason the second: Smokers in general piss me off. It's a nasty habit that KILLS PEOPLE. I don't make friends with smokers because chances are I will have to watch them die of cancer. I've extended my anti-smoking stance to include not letting cars cut in front of me if the driver is a smoker. If my comments are working tell me what you think.

Pop music has gotten so

Pop music has gotten so bad that I've all but stopped listening to music on the radio. Generally now, it's NPR when I'm on the road. Perhaps I should invest in some books on tape.

We went and saw Simone

We went and saw Simone last night. Not at all what I was expecting but still good. Then we came back and watched Super Troopers. A fun light hearted comedy. After that it was Aliens, which is one of my personal favorites. I also rented Thumb Wars. It's a parady of star wars with the entire cast made of peoples thumbs! I haven't watched that yet but believe me I'll tell you about it when I do.

Dinner at Red Lobster with my parents and Amber last night. It's always nice spending time with my parents as I don't do it very often.

Last night Amber and I

Last night Amber and I happened to walk by Splash in East Lansing. As we did she very easily convinced me to get my other nipple pierced. Then before we left, Amber, decided to get the Kanji symbol for happiness tattooed on the top of her foot. So here we are a couple more tattooed, pierced, gum chewing, freak products of the MTV generation. Pictures to follow.

The best advice I ever

The best advice I ever received came from my Uncle Don. To paraphrase "Don't worry about it. It's either going to happen or it's not. You can't do anything to change it now, so just don't worry about it." Although not always possible I try to follow this advice. What’s the best advice you ever received?

I've already got a new

I've already got a new comment system going but I'm not sure if I like it or not. So don't be suprised if it's gone or compleately different the next time you check back.

You may notice the comments

You may notice the comments are gone. I'm fed up with enetation. They don't seem to have the ability to keep their own servers up and running so I gave up on them. Hopefully I'll have time in the next couple days to try something new.

Just got back from climbing

Just got back from climbing an indoor rock wall. Apparently my roommate is Spiderman, he was so fast none of the workers believed it was his first time. I on the other hand got passed by a 7 year old girl. Slow and steady wins the race. At least that’s what my mom says.

I had McDonalds for the first time in probably well over a year last night. Some sort of grilled chicken sandwich, a cheeseburger, and fries. Mmmm, so yummy. My only regret... I should have ordered a Big Mac too.

I woke up from a short nap at Ambers yesterday, came home took another longer nap, then played four straight hours of Warcraft III on my computer before going to bed. It's a rough life I live.

Last night Bourke made chocolate

Last night Bourke made chocolate malts from scratch, and they were goood. (I added the extra o in good to emphasize the extreme tastiness of his frozen chocolaty concoction.)

Hello Amber. Goodbye Depression.

Hello Amber. Goodbye Depression.

In chronological order 7 things

In chronological order 7 things that made my weekend great: 1. Took Amber to Jambalaya's. 2. Was bitten by a baby ferret. 3. Attended a fun party. 4. Wiped vomit off a past-out stranger's face with a vomit soaked washcloth. 5. Was kissed repeatedly by a cute girl. 6. Fed a big snake his dinner. 7. Stopped by Bourke's work(Speedway) for a couple hours for no real reason.

All that and I still woke up so depressed this morning that I had to fight myself to keep from calling in sick. I wanted badly to go back to bed and not have to think. It's going to be a long day... maybe I just need to get away for a while.

Last night as I was

Last night as I was driving home I felt my blood sugar dropping so I stopped and ate at Taco Bell. I gave the guy my order and he said, “Oh, I’m sorry we’re out of beef.” How can Taco Bell be out of beef? 90% of their menu contains beef! So I upgraded to steak at no additional charge.

Amber works nights, I work

Amber works nights, I work days, about the time I go to work she is getting out. Today on her way home she stopped by my office for a few minutes. According to her I look different in the morning. I told her it's because I'm not awake yet. I guess my point is it was a nice surprise and a good way to start the day. Even though the secretary here at work will be bugging me about her all day.

Yesterday I started a short

Yesterday I started a short story about a schizophrenic man who starts killing people. The cool thing is I'm writing it first person through the eyes of the voice he hears. It's really rough right now, but I have high hopes.

Amber and I watched Signs

Amber and I watched Signs yesterday. Very good and very creepy. We also stopped at Salvation Army and I picked up a few new shirts. I liked them although I don't think Bourke or Amber shared my enthusiasm.

I finally finished registering for classes today. What a pain the ass. Whoever designed WMU's online registration should be kicked in the nads.
