Party at Jeff's last night.

Party at Jeff's last night. I didn't get to make it to the bar they went to but I hear they found a lot of freaky hoes. Being the nice guy I am, I played DD and dropped them off and tried to pick them up only to find they had already piled into some truck bed and headed home. A good time was had by all, even by those of us who didn't go to the bar.

I'm stranded at work today. I don't have enough gas to get home and I left my wallet at sitting on my computer desk. If I don't make it home and die of starvation over the weekend know this... It was nice knowing you all.

Got a call from my

Got a call from my Dogg Jeff last night. He asked me what I was doing, I told him nothing because I had to work the next morning. Long story short. We grabbed some friends, closed out Rick's, then went out for pizza. Getting up this morning was not an easy task.

Depression is a harsh mistress

Depression is a harsh mistress to say the least. Coming and going when she pleases, invited or not, she enters my life at odd hours and departs late leaving me tired and confused. If I'm lucky she will disappear for days or weeks without letting me know where she is going. Inevitably she will return and push me around for awhile. However, I've learned to stand up for myself a little better. Eventually I hope to kick her sorry butt to the curb and rid myself of her for good. Until that day, I put up with her as best as I can.

I went to a baseball

I went to a baseball game with my friends last night. There was a father and his young son in the row just in front of us. It reminded me of the first time my Dad took me to a game. He took me to a Tigers game at the old stadium, back when all you could get on your hotdog was mustard. I don't remember who won, I can guess that the Tigers lost, but it didn't matter. As I look back on my childhood this stands out as one of my favorite memories. Thanks Dad, because of you, I'm looking forward to taking my son to his first baseball game.

Not many people know this but I have a guy who works for me whos only job it is to come to my apartment once a week and take my trash. Of course I have to bag it up and take it to the dumpster, but it's still great.

I live a low key

I live a low key life. Don't get me wrong I do my share of partying and going out. I don't live like a hermit by any means. However for the most part my life is quiet and here is proof. It has been 4 days since my last post and all I have to say is I ate some really good salsa today. There was Kiwi lime, Mango habanero, and cherry salsa. Very good salsa indeed.

My name is John and I am an internetaholic. I spend hours everyday on the internet. I surf for a few minutes before work to get the day going, then on my lunch hour. Sometimes I download songs at work and as soon as I get home I log on. I always do one more quick email check before bed... it helps me sleep. I check my email at least 10 times a day. Sometimes I wonder "is it worth it?" then, today I found this on my lunch break. Suddenly I realize, yes, yes it is worth it.

I was house/dog/cat sitting for

I was house/dog/cat sitting for my parents last night so I threw a little patio party. We fired up the smoker and cooked up some chicken, fish, burgers, and even hot dogs. Then we lit a fire and had a fireside jam session. After sitting under the stars and making music it finally feels like summer.

I got my blood test

I got my blood test today, and you would think that having so many piercings I wouldn't dread getting poked by a needle. However, if you think that, you would be wrong. I could feel my face turn pale after I saw the needle they were going to use.

Also I wrote for the first time in quite a while last night. I sat down and wrote a short story about a man who fell out of love. To be honest, it’s an adaptation from the song Molly by an underrated band called Sponge. It's quite sad and left me feeling down. But it felt good to be writing again.
